We were founded in 2020, at the beginning of a world wide pandemic, because that seemed like the best time to start a business. It worked out GREAT for us but I wouldn’t recommend it as a launch strategy.
Commercially, we create alongside brands/ad managers to create your ad architecture with writers and professional comedians. This guarantees you videos that convert. We also remove risk by filming variations and extra sections that are used in testing, niche targeting, fresh content and retargeting.
Seeing how well user generated content converted, we’ve switched our main model from long form Youtube ads and connected tv ads to fresh DAILY content for our clients.
Doug & Teresa Wyckoff are married comedians that write, create content, produce, and are the founders of Flying W Studios.
Teresa Wyckoff = EXECUTIVE PRODUCER is a writer, producer and comedian in Los Angeles. She is a rapid traveler and reader, usually trying to find ways to do both at the same time. She also cycles, hikes and spends an inordinate amounts of time with her dog, on the couch, binging her favorite shows..
Teresa has extensive production experience in the corporate branding and marketing world; having led successful branding and marketing campaigns, produced corporate film projects, television commercials, web content and developed lucrative sponsorship contracts. She is producing several commercial, documentary and feature projects for Mermaid Toast and Flying W Studios.
In the world of comedy, she is not only a performer, but has produced extensive international comedy & theatrical tours from Cairo, Egypt to South Dakota, shows at the renowned Edinburgh Fringe Festival and monthly award winning shows at the New York Comedy Club (NYCC). Not only has she produced these projects, but she has overseen the successful marketing and PR campaigns as well.
As a writer, she has written several short films, television commercials, YouTube Commercials, Social media content and was the ghost writer for several books, articles for online publications. She is currently writing and producing several narrative and documentary projects that are in various stages of development.
DOUG WYCKOFF = HEAD WRITER is a writer, producer and comedian from the East Village of New York City who came to Los Angles for sun and surf. He is a former College Football player as well as football and wresting coach. He’s also a cyclist and surfer.
Doug Wyckoff has 20 plus years of project management and production experience (his grey hairs tell the whole story). He is the co-producer of commercial projects, podcasts and is the co-producer of The He and She Show touring comedy show. His successful logistics, and crew management experiences have sparked many projects that range from short films, commercial projects, and online content production . He is also an accomplished editor, a professional photographer and acts as the head writer for our projects.
He is also a seasoned and established comedian and was a founding member of the famed Hawaii comedy group and production company: Power Up Comedy.He has headlined around the country and co-headlined with The He & She Show all over the world. He’s also performed in several short films, television commercials and online content.
He has written several short films, online video content and writes all his wife’s jokes.
He also has several narrative and documentary projects in various stages of development.

At 8 years old Dennis’ uncle gave him his first 35mm camera to take photographs with. At 12, his parents bought a video camera. He was always the operator, resulting in him being missing in many of his family home videos. He attended a trade school at 16 for film production that led to an internship at NBC 9 News. That internship turned into his first job, becoming the youngest editor at 19 years old. Later, he started working with Warren Miller and completed 3 successful Nike campaigns.
Nike liked Dennis’ work so much, they inspired him to start his own production company in 2000: Flippin Entertainment. His company gave him the opportunity to work with Michael Jordan, Floyd Mayweather, and Ed Sullivan, CEO of SEGI TV. He’s also worked on projects like the Oscar winning documentary "The Cove." He is currently based in LA, focusing all his efforts to feature films, where he’s been the Director of Photography on four films and is currently working on his own projects, including a documentary that is being done in partnership with Flying W Studios.
